The Insurance Law Association of India (ILAI) is the Indian chapter of the Association International de Droit des Assurances (AIDA).
With the growth of the Insurance Industry in India, ILAI was established as an on-going discussion forum for its members to discuss, debate and collaborate on various current and emerging issues impacting the Indian insurance industry.
ILAI conducts seminars, discussion groups, and other educational events focused on issues and trends impacting various segments of the Indian insurance industry.
AIDA, known as the International Law Association, is a non-profit international organization founded in 1960 with an aim to improve collaboration between its members and promote the study, knowledge and debate of international and national insurance law and related matters.
By the end of 1960, 16 national chapters had been established in Europe, America and Asia. Presently, AIDA has two regional groupings of national members – CILA (the Spanish, South and Central American regional grouping) and AIDA Europe (European grouping).
ILAI holds regular seminars on a wide variety of topics of interest to those working in insurance. All our talks are delivered by industry professional, members of the academia or legal experts.
